Mike Tyson has laid down the gauntlet to Jake Paul ahead of their highly-anticipated fight with a frightening show of his athleticism in a promotional video.

The pair will go head to head on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Texas in an exhbition match, with both boxers involved in a grueling training program to prepare them for the bout.

But it’s arguably more crucial for Tyson to get in shape as he hasn’t stepped into the ring since December 2020 when he faced Roy Jones Jr.

The 57-year-old has released a number of videos to prove he is in prime condition to face Paul, who is 30 years his junior. And his latest clip, sponsored by Call of Duty: Warzone, shows just how determined he is.

The former heavyweight champion uploaded a video to his social media, which appeared to show his movements being mimicked by his virtual avatar in the game.

As it happens, Tyson looks like he’s going to be a playable character in the Call of Duty Mobile game, with his Instagram video containing the caption: “From Brooklyn to Verdansk, Still The Baddest Man On The Planet.”

Many of his characteristics were reflected in the video, including his running style, swing and his trademark three-punch combo as a finishing move. He was put through his paces with sprinting and punching drills, showing an impressive level of athleticism.

Jake Paul has been warned not to underestimate Tyson by a former boxer.

“Mike Tyson is still the strongest puncher that I’ve ever been in the ring with,” Jones Jr. told boxing legend Shane Mosley. “The first time he hit me in the chest, it felt like a mule had kicked me in the chest.

“And if he hits anybody with a shot like that, they are either going out or down, especially guys who are not used to being hit like that.

“With these types of people like Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis, these guys are bigger and can take it.
