The Boston Celtics are making all the headlines after blowing off their recent match against the Atlanta Hawks. Jayson Tatum is getting a lot of heat for the loss and is also being trolled online for it. However, few people realized it but Tatum was roasted by the announcer in between the games as well.

The Celtics star was seen arguing with the referee in the game and the Hawks commentator drew a scathing comparison to roast him. Iowa star Caitlin Clark was caught up in the crossfire with nothing to do with the game.

Hawks Commentator compares Jayson Tatum with Caitlin Clark for wrong reasons

The Atlanta Hawks commentator Bob Rathbun was spectacular at his job in the Celtics vs. Hawks game. His commentary did justice to the amazing comeback of the Hawks and also roasted the Celtics for blowing out a huge 30-point lead. However, Celtics ace Jayson Tatum had the worst one from the bunch of comments delivered by Rathbun that night.

Tatum was seen arguing with an NBA official in the game and this caught Bob’s attention. He humorously compared the Celtics star to Iowa player Caitlin Clark and the comparison was for the wrong reason. “Boy, Jayson Tatum does lot of complaining. Who does he think he is, Caitlin Clark?” remarked Rathbun. The Hawks commentator drew a comparison between the Celtics star and the Iowa star based on their habit of complaining to the referees. This incident also caught the eye of NBA fans online and they jumped in to have some fun.

 

NBA fans join in to mock Tatum

The NBA fans online were quick to take notice of Rathbun’s comments and joined him in trolling Tatum online. The atmosphere online is already against the Celtics after they blew off a huge lead, the fans are mercilessly trolling them for blowing out an easy win. One fan commented, “Who does bro think he is ?” repeating the same statements from the Hawks commentator adding sarcasm to it.
