The Kansas City Chiefs player, 34, left a great impression on the X Games host, 52, the presenter shared in an Instagram post on April 17, after he recently met Kelce for a one-on-one interview.

Masekela described Kelce as “the absolute realest dude” as he posted a photo of himself and the athlete chatting in a kitchen.

“Yesterday vs Today. Having a 🐐’s only kinda week,” the sports commentator wrote in his caption, while also sharing another snap taken the previous day of him with Olympic surfer Carissa Moore at her book release in New York City.

“Brooklyn @pilgrimsurfsupply with the incredible @rissmoore10’s for her book release celebrating Hawaiian culture,” Masekela continued. “Then got a call to last minute do a one on one in LA with @killatrav who ended up being the absolute realest dude ever. Enjoy the muhfuggin journey!!!!! 🏄‍♀️🏈.”

“I know the @killatrav pick is gonna break your brain @ryanrunke. And yes, he’s a massive @xgames fan,” he added.

Kelce’s one-on-one interview with Masekela was seemingly recorded a couple of days before the release of his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s new album The Tortured Poets Department on April 19.

Swift, 34, seemingly references their relationship in the album, as the singer mentions in one song “dating the boy on the football team.” On the track “So High School,” Swift sings, “In the blink of a crinkling eye,” which fans have linked to Kelce’s signature crinkle in his eyes when he smiles.

The singer also mentions the game “Kiss, Marry, Kill” in the song, which Kelce participated in during a 2016 interview with AfterBuzz TV that resurfaced last year. During the game, he was asked to choose between Ariana Grande, Katy Perry and Swift — the latter of whom he chose to “kiss.”

On the same day of the release of her latest album, Kelce made a cameo with Swift in a YouTube Shorts promotion video for her single “Fortnight.” The NFL star could be seen kissing the singer on the cheek in home video as the Grammy winner cooked.

Kelce and Swift previously attended Coachella together on April 13. The couple appeared to be in great spirits as they were spotted dancing in the crowd while attending several performances, including those of Ice Spice, Dom Dolla and Bleachers.
