During a recent episode of First Take, Stephen A. Smith, a sports radio host and sports journalist, was asked about the dating rumors spreading about him with fellow commentator Molly Qerim. Chris Russo asked the question. In response to that question, Smith denied any romantic relationship between him and Molly Qerim.
“No, nothing is going on! Do you understand what I’m saying? America’s been lying about that for a couple of years. Here’s the upside to all of that: they know my taste. So therefore they know that it’s a compliment to her. On the positive side, this indicates their perception of my high standards, which is flattering for her. And obviously, she has excellent taste too. So it seems like a way for America to applaud our good looks. However, the rumors do reinforce that First Take is the best show not only regarding content but also in terms of presentability,” Smith said during the interview on First Take.
Smith smartly put a full stop to the rumors by complimenting Molly during his answer. In December 2021, Qerim announced her divorce from former NBA player and ESPN analyst Jalen Rose after three years of marriage.
Smith confirmed in a 2019 interview with GQ Magazine that he has two teenage children
As one of the world’s best NBA analysts, it’s understandable that people would want to know more about Stephen A. Smith’s life outside of the spotlight. Smith is an isolated individual who rarely discusses his private affairs, but he has progressively begun to do so in recent years.
In a 2019 interview with GQ Magazine, Smith confirmed that he has two teenage children, Samantha and Nyla. Smith has claimed that, despite being unmarried, he hopes to marry a lovely bride one day.
Stephen A. Smith is a brilliant NBA analyst; he knows how to handle such questions about his personal life. Although he will be in a relationship someday, he will never disclose it on national television.
