Clippers Doctors Confused By Kawhi Leonard’s Health Woes

Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers are set to face off against the Dallas Mavericks in the opening round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs.

Unfortunately, nobody can quite get a read on how many games of this series Leonard will participate in.

Leonard missed the last eight games of the regular season with what was originally described as “soreness” in his right knee. The team then adjusted what was bothering Leonard to “inflammation.”

The mystery surrounding Leonard’s current health woes has been the subject of intense debate in recent weeks.

A few days ago, Fox Sports broadcaster Skip Bayless offered some insight into Leonard’s condition.

“I’m told he is definitely out for Game 1,” Bayless said.

“He will play in Game 2. He has a weird swelling in his knee that the Clippers’ doctors cannot figure out.

Dallas is playing some of the best basketball any team has played all year long.

The Mavericks look legitimately scary ahead of the playoffs.

It seems fair to say that the only way the Clippers get past them is with a healthy Leonard.

Will Bayless’ prediction about Leonard ultimately prove to be true? Time will tell.
