Women’s college basketball superstar Caitlin Clark is now a professional after she was drafted into the WNBA as the first overall pick by the Indiana Fever.
Six picks later, the Chicago Sky would then select former LSU Tigers sar Angel Reese with pick number 7 in the WNBA Draft.
The two iconic athletes are mostly responsible for the influx of interest in women’s college basketball over the past two years. Caitlin Clark famously lost in the NCAA Championship to Angel Reese’s LSU Tigers, and then they would face each other in the Elite 8 last month, with the Hawkeyes getting their revenge only for the team to later lose in the championship game again for the second-straight season.
Now that both Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark have been drafted, fans want to know when we will get to see them face off in the WNBA.
The Chicago Sky will first play the Indiana Fever at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on June 1 and then again at the same place on June 16, via Google.com.
Then, the venue changes, with the Fever traveling to face the Sky at Wintrust Arena on June 23 and then on August 30.
For fans who are not aware of how the WNBA plays out, the regular season begins with a four-game slate on May 14, with each team playing 40 games in their respective seasons. The league’s regular season runs through September 19.
As expected, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will be shown on national television a lot.

Last season, Indiana played on ESPN only once, and it did not play on ABC or ESPN2. That changes in 2024.
Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will be showcased by the WNBA with 36 of the team’s 40 games on its national broadcast.
She is coming in as the face of the league and makes drastic changes just based on her play.
