The IDF veteran was praised by Swifties for his work with the pop star
Taylor Swift’s Israeli bodyguard has returned home to rejoin his IDF unit and fight Hamas.
The minder, who was praised by fans for protecting Swift during her Eras Tour, flew in from Las Vegas.
“I have a pretty great life in the US, a dream job, great friends and a comfortable home,” he told Eran Swissa of Israel Hayom.
“I didn’t have to come here, but I couldn’t stand by while families were being slaughtered and burned alive in their homes.
“It would be an insult to animals around the world to call these terrorists ‘animals.’
“They killed and slaughtered families in their beds alongside the family’s pets, and in the end they also burned their homes. Try to imagine it happening in your neighborhood, or to your family.
“I have a pretty great life in the US, a dream job, great friends and a comfortable home. I didn’t have to come here, but I couldn’t stand by while families were being slaughtered and burned alive in their homes. Don’t stand by without doing anything. Don’t be on the wrong side of history.”

Taylor Swift with bodyguard
Swift fans had previously praised the bodyguard, who did not wish to give his name, for protecting the star from bracelets that were thrown at her on stage.
“Taylor Swift’s fans demand a raise for this bodyguard as he steals the show at Kansas City,” one fan posted on TikTok.
“That man just scanned a thousand people in the crowd in six seconds, six seconds flat. Whatever Taylor Swift’s paying him, it’s not enough,” another fan said.
Swift’s Eras Tour film has been postponed in Israel but opened around the world on Friday. It grossed around $130 million in the opening weekend.
