The Milwaukee Bucks’ season came to an end on Thursday night with a 120-98 Game 6 loss to the Indiana Pacers. It was an understandably frustrating result, especially given that Milwaukee was never fully healthy for the series.

One player on the team, Patrick Beverley, took that frustration out on a Pacers fans sitting behind the team’s bench.

With just a little under three minutes to play in regulation and with the Pacers in full control, an exchange happened where a Pacers fan and Beverley clearly traded words words, with the fan tossing the ball to Beverley after he appeared to ask for it.

Beverley then whipped the ball back at the fan in an attempt to hit them.

Anytime you have fan and player confrontations that is never a good thing, especially in a sport like the NBA where there is almost no barrier between the crowd and the floor. Things can escalate rapidly.

The NBA is also not likely to respond kindly to that and Beverley could be facing a pretty steep fine.

Frustration is understandable given the moment, especially if the fans are trash talking as your season winds down. That is still not a good look for Beverley in that moment.
