Kim Porter, a model, actress, and businesswoman, was born on December 15, 1970, and met PDD in 1994 while working as a receptionist. Their on-and-off relationship spanned over 14 years, producing a family that many saw as the picture of happiness. However, things fell apart in 1999, and despite a brief reconciliation in 2003 and the birth of their twin daughters in 2006, the couple divorced for good in 2007.

Porter kept a lower profile after the breakup until her untimely death on November 15, 2018, at just 47. The cause was reported as lobar pneumonia, which rapidly worsened after she exhibited flu-like symptoms. While initial reports suggested a cordial relationship between Kim and PDD, doubts arose after a book titled *Kim’s Lost Words* surfaced. This memoir, released just before PDD faced extortion and trafficking allegations in September, alleged a darker side to their relationship, including domestic violence and disturbing discoveries Kim had made about the rapper.

In 2020, PDD introduced a young woman named Ava during an Instagram Live, calling her his adopted daughter. According to PDD, Ava had been living on the streets before he stepped in to help.
