“Atlanta Hawks Announcer’s Brutal Roast of Caitlin Clark While Taking a Jab at Celtics’ Jayson Tatum Caught on VIDEO”

Women’s basketball has really made a huge turn in the world of viewers and Caitlin Clark is a huge reason why that is.

Jayson Tatum and Caitlin Clark

Two of the biggest names in men’s and women’s basketball were in action and by their standards, it wasn’t a great night for either of them.

Caitlin Clark and Jayson Tatum were making headlines in the world of basketball on Monday night. Tatum was trying to lead his Boston Celtics to what should’ve been an easy win against the depleted Atlanta Hawks whereas Clark was leading the IOWA Hawkeyes in the NCAA Tournament’s second round.

Tatum and the Celtics suffered their worst loss of the season as they gave up an 18-point half-time advantage to the Atlanta Hawks, who were without Trae Young and other important players due to injury.

During that game, Tatum found himself being dissed as he frequently complained to the officials about a missed or nonexistent call and got pointed out by the commentator.

Hawks announcer Bob Rathbun would bring up Caitlin Clark to get his point across:

“Boy, Jayson Tatum does a lot of complaining! Who does he think he is, Caitlin Clark? Caitlin Clark was complaining so much [that] her dad got on her.”

As mentioned in his statement, Caitlin Clark was complaining to the officials or possibly her father after a foul was called on her teammate Saturday with less than one minute to go in the second quarter of an NCAA Tournament first-round game.

The ESPN television camera panned to her father, Brent, yelling back to “Stop” or “Shut Up.” Clark finished with a triple-double, scoring 27 points and adding 10 assists and eight rebounds over 31 minutes as No. 1 Iowa routed No. 16 Holy Cross, 91-65, in the Albany 2 Region.

In the second round, Clark’s Hawkeyes defeated the Mountaineers, although the deadeye shooter did not have the greatest game. Iowa’s superstar guard still managed to score 32 points to help the No. 1 seed survive one of its worst offensive performances of the season to beat No. 8 seed West Virginia 64-54 on Monday night, advancing to the Sweet 16, via ESPN.com.

Now we’re into the teeth of the NCAA Tournament. Caitlin Clark led Iowa to a nervous 64-54 win over West Virginia on Monday night. She will need to be so much better as the talent is only going to be greater as they move on in the tournament.

Clark’s college career is ending. The 2024 Women’s Tournament will be Clark’s “goodbye” to NCAA basketball, where she has produced countless memories and broken longstanding records, leaving an indelible mark on the game before she turns pro

One accolade is still missing from Clark’s collegiate resume and that is a championship.
