Nate Robinson doesn’t trust Jayson Tatum’s Celtics in the playoffs despite them being the No.1 seed due to a bizarre reason

However, everyone may not consider the Boston Celtics to have an undefeated performance in the postseason. Former Celtics guard Nate Robinson on ‘The OG’s Show’ claimed that regardless of the Boston team’s current standings he does not have faith in the team as they lack the ‘it factor’.

Robinson’s claim may not be entirely wrong as the Celtics have failed after coming near the finish line more than a few times. In recent history, the team has made it to the conference finals twice and the NBA finals once. But during both times the team has come short and has dropped a once-in-a-year chance.

Having an MVP candidate like Jayson Tatum on the team has also been beneficial; Tatum currently ranks in the NBA’s top 5 MVP ladder’s list. Despite past setbacks, the team has demonstrated strong playoff performances and aims to replicate this success.

To give credit where it’s due, during the first episode of his podcast ‘Mind the Game’, James took the opportunity to praise Tatum’s playoff run with the Celtics.
James admitted that Tatum has impressed him the most when it comes to the young players in the league. The 39-year-old was especially amazed by Tatum’s amount of conference and finals appearances at the age of 26. The four-time NBA Champion even compared Tatum’s playoff run to himself and the greats of the sport.
